managing all aspects of commercial partnerships,
pricing, operations, and airfare ticketing.

Job Description:
As an Airfares Specialist, your primary responsibility is
to ensure the seamless delivery of our business service
strategy and provide exceptional service to our valued
customers. Your role involves collaborating across
various departments to optimise air product offerings
and guarantee a superior customer experience.
Key Responsibilities
Air Product:
Collaborate with finance, ticketing, BSP, and
operations teams to streamline processes and aid in
financial recovery efforts.
Verify correct allocations and promptly act on any
changes while ensuring effective communication
throughout the organization.
Work closely with commercial, sales managers, and
destination teams to maximize sales through
efficient rate utilisation.
Promote offers using various distribution channels
and monitor their success.
Implement rigorous quality control procedures to
minimise errors.
Cultivate strong relationships with other business
functions and promptly respond to requests and
queries.
Serve as the point of contact and provide helpdesk
support for internal and external stakeholders.
Assist with GDS training and offer general flight
support.
Address aviation issues as they arise, running
reports on affected passengers, and collaborating
with relevant departments for successful
resolutions.
Maintain supplier relationships.
Operations:
Ensure seamless and efficient handling of
pre-departure and in-resort issues that impact
customers' holidays, striving to exceed customer
satisfaction.
Manage flight involuntary changes effectively.
Coordinate schedule change queues on GDS and manage
schedule changes from low-cost airline providers.
Collaborate with internal departments and external
suppliers to resolve issues and provide valuable
feedback on trends, quality concerns, or areas of
improvement.
Identify opportunities for process enhancement to
benefit both customers and the business.
Play an active role in the Incident Management Team,
crucial for dealing with crisis by communicating
with customers and adhering to set policies and
procedures.
Qualifications and Skills:
In-depth knowledge and understanding of the airline
industry, encompassing both low-cost and scheduled
flying.
Familiarity with airline contracts, including IT, SO
& CAT35.
Excellent organisational skills with meticulous
attention to detail.
Strong communication and influencing skills.
Proficient in data analysis and numerical reasoning.
A collaborative team player with a proactive
approach to problem-solving.
Essential expertise in Sabre.
Willingness to be part of the Out of Hours (OOH)
team and be on-call once every 7 weeks.
